• Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) not to be confused with Sodium Olefin Sulfonate.  SLS is a foaming agent and used in most commercial products today. These products include shampoo, bodywash/showergel, bubble baths, garage floor cleaners, engine degreasers, car wash soaps, and many more foaming cleaning liquids.  In today's society foam and lots of bubbles are associated with proper cleaning.  SLS will deliver good foaming properties but is extremely irritating to the skin.  Soap with no or less foaming properties will clean just as well without stripping the skin.  For those people that can not be without their bubble bath after a long day at work  researchers have developed foaming agents derived from natural sources for a milder, less stripping products.  A healthier and safer alternative. 

• FD&C Dyes.  These dyes may cause allergies, asthma attacks, headaches and more in some people. 

• Mineral Oil or Petroleum.  These are byproducts of the crude oil industry.  Used as lubricants for engine parts, adds a smooth feel to bodylotions, stuff petroleum jelly is made off.  Mineral oil can not be absorbed by the skin.  It forms a film on the skin without any beneficial function,  but serves its purpose as a cheap filler.

• Formaldehyde
• Lanolin ( highly allergenic)
