Body For Life Diet Plan

Body for Life is a diet book written by Bill Phillips talking about Body for Life diet plan. The diet plan is about a full package of diet and fitness program. It promises that dieters will lose fat and gain muscle. The advantage of this diet is that dieters won’t feel tired even though it has quite physical exercises.

The book is a successful one and placed itself in the top 100 of best seller books in many countries. Later, Phillips also launched a new diet book titled Eating for Life. While the first book focuses on shaping body, this second book focuses on nutrition. Both are best seller books and have raised Phillips’s name to the top list of diet book writers.

Body of Life diet plan includes 6 meals everyday. While most diet usually focuses on calorie intake, Body of Life diet focuses more on portion size of meals. For six days a week dieters must eat something which consists of one portion of protein and one portion of carbohydrates. On the seventh day, dieters are given one free day to eat their favorite foods.

As it has been previously stated, Body of Life diet plan does not only consist of meal plan. It also integrates physical exercises into its diet program. This makes the diet a hard one to follow. The dieters must have strong motivation and commitment to succeed. Eating 6 meals per day is also not a difficult thing to do either when you are already used to 3 meals per day. Not everyone has the time to prepare 6 meals for a day time. Therefore, sometimes prepared diet foods and supplements may be good solutions. Shakes and bars are great to fulfill 6 meals per day quota and one protein on carbohydrate portion in Body for Life diet plan.
